By far, the biggest pumpkin in the garden...well the only one. Still gaining 12 per day and cantalouping. Water is an issue this time of year and becomes stressful in the house. The usual, "Can I shower now!!!" "Can I do laundry now!!!" "Can I run the dishwasher now!!!" "Can I water the regular garden plants now!!!" "Can I flush now!!!" is daily. Me getting on the kids for flushing when it's only yellow...it's pathetic. You other pumpkin growers know where the priorities are. I am so evil and hated this time of year. The well and holding tanks are finally depleted. Thought I could get through the next few weeks. Had to have 2000 gallons of water delivered to fill the holding tanks.
