Last year I let my tomato entry stay on the vine too long. Couldn't bring a partially rotten one to the weigh off. Ended up bringing a last place tomato just to enter something, and get a T-shirt. This year I will bring a pumpkin and hopefully this tomato. My 4.69 from last year. Still 17 days to go and over 23". No red yet, probably a week to go. I guess pick it, store it in a paper bag in the fridge for 10 days? Does anybody know the best method of preservation?
