This is what is left of the 2145 McMullen plant. The pumpkin on this plant grew 10 inches over the last two days. A LOVELY barrel shape. I named her Sleeping beauty as this plant started off SO SLOW it was a sleeper. We were just starting to see the plant filling out when we discovered the soft area on the main. Now she will be an experiment to see how much plant is needed to grow a pumpkin. So heartbreaking.
