Is that normally shaded or just time of day photo was taken?

That's the side of the patch closest to my woods so it doesn't get much sun. It gets sun until 8:30 AM until around 1:30 or so. I took that picture after the shade came in earlier this afternoon. Wish I had more sun! That all changes next year though

On the super hot days when it's like 100 degrees, I definitely do feel like it helps keep the plants less stressed, but in general the less sun is worse for disease since my patch doesn't drain that well
