Hmm. Matt D, leaning on your impressive research/knowledge my question would be, is there some way to know if the roots:foliage ratio is optimal? It does seem like excess foliage or insufficient roots, however you want to look at it, will harm fruit size. But I'm wondering how a grower could actually measure this, because we can't see the roots... So we never know what this ratio really is, other than some growers may have an innate sense for judging it.
