WOW. In your efforts you are hitting on another great idea - to use two pieces of plywood as the standard and be able to roll/smack a pipe or other rounded-edge material in between them; The pipe/stuff would eventually be able to lift the other end and facilitate other endeavors if needed. eg

Yeah the pvc under there is just to keep the anchor bolts from scraping on the ground but they definitely helped the wood to slide easier.
