Well it's pretty difficult to prevent/control some diseases from hitting like any other crops when weather conditions such as humidity and tons of rains strike!

What type of livestock did she show?

All three of my daughters show Market goats and breeding meat goats. They had a good time and work really hard at it. One of them was second place outstanding market exhibitor at the state fair this year, I'm really proud of them.

OK great work and yes a lot of hard work and time preparing the goats with any livestock to show at a fair. Second place at the state fair big achievement very well done! Ohio State Fair I assume?

Yes Ohio State Fair. Unfortunately our state fair doesn't have giant pumpkins!

Well yes it is a bit strange Ohio does not have a giant pumpkin class considering its pumpkin history, production and all the growers? However it is still early, would not expect many entries and it has only been just the last few years that growers have big ones now. It was unheard of since giant pumpkin began. Maybe some year soon if the trend continues and more big ones?
