Bummer, The aborted kin is the tell tale ultimate symptom from yellow vine disease. Sometimes the clustered vine tips can be from other things. I dont see any YVD in this pic, but it can hide really well in a healthy mature plant. I have a gut feeling that most of the aborts that growers see late in the game are YVD. (in areas that have YVD). Take good care of your last plant don't quit on it. I have had years like the one you are having. It is not uncommon to have one plant escape and make it to the end. Even if it is surrounded on each side by a YVD infected plant!!

The part of the plant near the pumpkin looks great, there are some yellowed leaves on a secondary on the other side. For whatever reason I have way more cucumber beetles than anyone else I talk to in my area. I do have an old grown up fence row near the patch that I'm wondering if hurts me. It's coming out this winter. I'm about to try to figure out how to put insect netting up too.
