I'm in the same boat. You can check the stem size to get a better appraisal of its potential. Other than that it's usually hard for me to tell what the potential is until they start growing so I just pollinate everything.

I was thinking, let’s do some giant tomatoes they should be easy? VT John said if I can grow pumpkins then tomatoes would be easy….if I knew what I was doing lol ?!?!
