Not a HH, butt here's my opinion on the close tilling. As I saw on Google to say it anyway, the roots from the tap root as well as the vine roots themselves grow notably past the edges of the plant's leaves. Concerned that they May be getting damaged in the process. Maybe look into it for your own assertion. My tiller is 9 feet wide, butt I'm low on horsepower for it. Else, my patches would look like that. Powder! eg (*_*)

Thanks for the imput. I burry vines once a week. all the secondarys were not burried before tilling. and I didn't till behind the crown. There were no roots for sure.
