Looking good. I was thinking about trying the perlite under the pumpkins this year. My only concern was mice if mice would tunnel through it. Do you leave the drip under the pumpkins?

Have to say you certainly earn every pound/kilogram at the scales! Way above and beyond. And dealing with crazy heat wave over there as well.

Difficult, perhaps strenuous is the word, part of the year. Maybe one of the two less-fast kins could remain unburied just as an experiment to see how many lbs it adds. Buried vs unburied. When I'm stressed I come up with new experiments to understand and hopefully chip away at the problem.

Yes I leave the drip tubes under the pumpkins. Burying the vines is the right thing to do so I’m on the patch 110%. It’s still difficult to not have anyone to chat to. Thank you all.
