Never had that, but have seen at least one other instance where it happened and ether it went on to be someone's best plant/fruit or it wasn't noticed and still, best plant/fruit. Personally, I would not move a plant and disturb all of them roots for a presumably-better result. Perhaps remove the seed leaves, make a 'stump cover' for the area and I'd not even add any pastes/mixtures, etc. Just MHO---eric g

Let the plant decide. If it still wants to be a winner then it will now grow better than ever. At least you got it to lay down ha ha.

Yeah fair point I suppose... im transplanting a backup 1082 DeVisser in beside it incase it doesnt go, but ill let it decide for sure lol

Good call on transplanting in the 1082 beside it then letting them decide. Not ideal in any way, but at least the slits run parallel with the vine as opposed to perpendicular.
