Weed whacker is fantastic for the stuff in my experience.

Good point. I was worried about "whacking"the drip but really that problem exists with either tool.

I would love to see anyone use Dutch White Clover as a cover crop. It is too much for me for shipping even where I've gotten it before and it only gets about 5 inches high, can replace a lawn as one of its purposes, is perennial or re-seeds and sprouts VERY quickly, although it may not establish as well as I'd have liked but that may have been from dry days after broadcasting. I would have a supplementary-sprinkle jar at the ready. Just my DWC thoughts.
Cool pic - That near sprinkler is an optical illusion, lol---eric g

I am not buying the white clover idea pumpkinpal. I guess what you are saying is that it would not have to be removed. For this idea you are going to have to show me that it can work! Can you do an experiment, 10 plants with clover vs 10 plants with no clover. Everything else the same. Weigh the results. Sorry for hijacking the buckwheat post!

Let's work together.
It's not directly intended to make HEAVIER PUMPKINS butt to alleviate the taller and tougher weeds that are the plague of all growers. What is the point of a cover crop in any scene at the moment? For just two, to establish roots for Mycorrhizae to adhere to and keep down other weeds, to be clear. It 'worked' for me with respect to that it was not 50 adversaries, some being 7 feet tall, butt just one, at 5 or so inches. How did the Moss work out for you? That would be one step (even) further in the right direction, butt very costly and I did say 'I'd love to see anyone...' because it won't be me, presently, lol. eg

Even with you taking the year off, this is going to be a fun one to watch grow! I'm sure you inoculated the buckwheat, but even if you didn't the pumpkin roots are going to love it!

Don't whack one of those lines like I have before!
