I'm worried that something else is going on, with all due respect; Between the 20th and May 4th, by the Diary dates, anyway, there was some time for some insidious thing(s) to surface. They looked like they were gonna be happy!

It is a good thing you have backups! Going back to your hardening off process seems to be a good idea.

I agree, not sure if that is just the sun exposure. They usually don't hold the crinkle like that once back in shade.
