That's so much worse than an accident. Siblings are not the most caring people in the world. That's so harsh I hope she will apologize.

That is a terrible thing. As growers, we are very vulnerable to this type of thing. I always try and be nice to my neighbors when I have plants in the garden. Vandalism has taken out lots of growers over the years.

It is bad, butt you didn't see it happen so you don't really know for sure. Usually, it's not what happens that is the real problem - it's what you do about it that is. No proof? Then, poof! Please don't plot against your sister, in any event. ...She could do it 'again'...or, in 'responsive retaliation'. eg

Great tactic, Elaine. I've been thinking that if there is a rooting area available, it is remotely possible with the right re-planting concoction. I'll try it on a 'tester', perhaps. eg

It could live, but that thing is severely compromised and won't reach its potential.
Definitely use a backup

Sounds like she wants attention. She might be starved for positive attention. Which isnt your job but nevertheless it's good to be aware of the needs around you. I think that's the underlying issue. Maybe.

Uggh that is terrible. I had a sister that I know shoved me into a piano bench when I was 4 and I needed stitches. She told my parents I tripped. Some people do not respect the hard work that goes into this gardening hobby. I was having a friendly contest with a gardening friend named Steve. It was finally the year that I thought I had him beat and my big tomato was going to win me the prize. The morning I came down to pick it I discovered that it was gone... the damn thing was eaten. I just know it was Steve who did it. He never apologized either.

It's certainly not too late to start again. Put this behind you and direct your anger into growing something massive!
