Well holy crap. I almost lost the 2070 Lopresti this morning. I was checking the vine to make sure it had enough slack and my finger came across a soft spot a foot behind the stem. The pumpkin went from a 21 to 27 pound gain in 24 hours so i knew quickly that this wasn't all the way through once i hit hard skin. Not sure this is a squash vine borer as there are no signs of it and it didn't go all the way through. Looks like a bite mark. I may lose some pounds but i think this should hopefully heal!
