i have to warm my soil it is currenly around 16 C.
my initial plan was to dig a 2' deep hole and put leaves in it then cover with soil and as they decompose the heat the soil but when i started to dig i hit clay at 1'.
now my plan is to put 6 mil greenhouse plastic (clear) that warms the soil for four days when i replace with black porous landscapeing fabric when but i'm worried this may cause anerobic conditions any thoughts? my soil is currently quite dry.
