What? I sprouted my potential and pretty-much mandatory cover crop of Annual and Perennial RyeGrass for fun and to see just how tall it was gonna grow in my living room/5-gal bucket and I am blown away by how QuIcklY it grows once germinated. 80 hours and life comes to visit, lol. With a heater fan, maybe 72 hours, right along with the AGs for ME. The idea is to plant the CC with the AGs, establishing a massive root system with the CC that will be 'there' for the AG in a few days, that is it. I have another experiment that shows the CC's roots gettin' on down through...well, that 'll be tomorrow. In any event this stuff gets to be like 10" in about a week.
It is very hairlike butt it'll be like 'normal' grass I am sure in RL. It is Tractor Supply Fast Lawn 35K SF for $69.99. eg
