Starting three seeds from the 1481 Bayuk 23 in 5" peat pots that were moistened with holes, parked in the sides beforehand. Planted in Black Gold seed starting mix inoculated with mycorrhizal. Moisten the potting mix with the remaining seaweed solution that the seeds were soaked in for a couple of hours. On a heat mat set to 85°F.

Two of the three seeds from the 1481 Bayuk 23 are sprouting already. Nothing yet on the 438 Chandler 15. In some spots on the seeds they are showing signs of darkening. And the 417 Chandler 16 the seed coating seems to be breaking down. The outside of the shell feels to be getting soft to the touch. May need to restart these ones soon. I have been changing the paper towels, and the Ziploc bags every day. Also, I run the seeds under running warm water to wash them off. I hope the 438 Chandler 15 will sprout because they are my last seeds from Terminator.

Started my backups

Today I had to throw out my old seeds that I was trying to sprout. They were the 438 Chandler 15 and the 417 Chandler 16. They unfortunately molded because I had forgot to check on them each day. I really wanted the 438 Chandler to sprout, but now I have no more. What a bummer.

These plants need to get in the ground. Too much rain. Need to work on broad forking plot to help dry out the soil. Only two will be planted and the third will be a backup for one of the two.
