Its nice to prove (to both yourself and to others) you could go the distance with your methods. Thats quite an impressive pumpkin. Could we see the cavity? With a shape like that, even a skinny guy might not ne able to fit inside...?!

That's an awesome pumpkin, congratulations! That damaged spot doesn't take anything away from what you grew, I think that is a really great cross to should have awesome potential for next year. I would like to try to determine contributing factors to pumpkins going heavy to chart.

Great job this year Matt. Seeing that weight nearly made me pass out. I can't wait to see what you can do in 2026!

Little Ketchup- The seeds are planned to be harvested soon.
Fattires- There are some growers/patches that seem to favor going heavy to chart. However, this may be a statistic that gets too much attention which in the end does not really help much to pushing weights higher. The % over chart is certainly exciting for the grower, but you can go under the estimated weight and still get a World Record.
Nick's Big Pumpkin- All I will say is your commentary came through very clear on the video when the pumpkin was being weighed;-)

I also heard Nick's commentary in my video of it! Your pumpkin is amazing Matt. I've thought for a long time that you're one of the best growers in the world, and this pumpkin cements that. Looking forward to seeing what you grow next year
