This was when it first started turning color. A judge might overlook this minimal amount of yellow but its only gotten more yellow since the picture was taken.
Also, aphids are so bad they have stained the leaves black but oh well DAP 90 or so and the trajectory of this pumpkin isnt going to change appreciably, and really no one is going to care if it weighs 650 vs 655.

I should have said started turning color at day 80 or so. Had this late conversion happen last year too, so it was not unexpected. I'll probably have to give up on this lineage. Other people are getting better results.

It may turn back... I had orange spots appear then dissapear a week later.
Make sure it does not get full sun exposure.

Ok I'll do a zero light experiment on it... Its not getting much daytime heat in that spot but yes it was getting sunlight there. AM sun not hot, but it might be the UV light. Thanks!
