You ought to consider doing a blossom down dark green/gray squash. I don't think I have ever seen one done before.

I don't know which seed to use. Maybe you'll make end up with some interesting green genetics this year.

The only gray green/dark color I've ever gotten was ones that got too much sun. Genetically, I've never gotten lucky in terms of getting other squash colors besides the standard green... but I've only grown a few.
