I did cacti for awhile. Its nice to have houseplants that can survive for a couple weeks or even better a couple months without water. I have some that are 30 years old and they're still just 3" tall. They've doubled in size in 30 years... They look young and healthy which is weird. They don't look old. Maybe the worlds oldest plants are not trees...
