Fusarium? I'm no expert. I think with fusarium you will see more discoloration and external lesions on the roots or vine near the infected nodes. Going further out on a limb here, phytophthora would be contained internally and the actual point of infection less visible...?
I think I've had verticulum, fusarium, and phytophthora but that doesn't mean I can diagnose them with certainty...
If you get it tested by a lab or if somebody knows how to distinguish these fungal rots, it would be interesting to know with certainty.
