At the 16th annual Skagit Valley Giant Pumpkin Festival yesterday Joseph Baird won with an 11% heavy pumpkin which nearly doubled the previous Seattle City record and was probably the biggest pumpkin ever grown in an urban community pea patch. It came in at 1673 pounds.
We don't ever want him to move to the burbs where he might have even more space to work with.

Quite a pumpkin turnout! Sorry we couldnt help with the judging. The lost child was mine and again chasing a child kept me from seeing the tomatoes get weighed! Go pnwgpg!
