Anyone know where to find gutter cables you can plug into thermostat. All I see are the ones that shut off at 50 degrees.

Like Shannon said ,if you look up Robert Hunt (same person as Bobby) in the backyard giant pumpkin group you'll see a post from that profile about them from September, I know a number of people have bought from him and is legit.

So I looked up his post and says not to use a extension cord on box. So how his everyone getting power to them that have bought these from him? Also are these regulated to shut off when reach a certain temp? Thanks

I have dealt with Mor Electric for many years. Wrap-on cables is what you want. https://morelectricheating.com/heating-cable-mats/roof-gutter-deicing-cable/wrap-on-grey-roof-gutter-de-icing-electric-constant-watt-heating-cable-kits-with-shingle-clips-spacers
5 watts per foot. Sit back and watch that little thing rotate on your electric meter!

Those of you that use gutter cable, how far apart do run them when burying? Thanks.

I use a cheap heat-mat thermostat on mine. But I had one fail. Stuck on. Now I pay more attention. I have about 150’ of 12 gauge cord. I bury mine 8” down and about 4” apart but its really cold here.
