We now have all our ducks in a row and I will be forwarding seeds as a test run in the next few days. But there is a catch and I absolutely can't get around it and that is, I will be loosing 20% of the seeds to testing. and I can't control the seeds that will be taken.

So I would please ask for some help for our Australian and Tasmanian growers.
If these growers have made a seed request and if you have several of the request would you so kind as to send 2 of the seed, so as to make sure they receive at least one.
Also you can send the seeds to my US address so you don't pay the international posting rates.
it's

412 Oak Street
Sweetgrass Montana
59484

Thank you on behalf of the southern growers

Also as another follow up, They have added a new test requirement, but we have it covered
here is a portion of the letter I received from the Australian Government concerning this and what I posted above

Hi Eddy,
Working through your questions.

I provide the information on the basis that you will be sending less than 10kg. Therefore, I refer to the import conditions for Cucurbit seed – small consignments.

http://biconnet.daff.gov.au/BICONWeb/ImportConditions/Conditions?EvaluatableElementId=163925&Path=UNDEFINED&UserContext=External&EvaluationStateId=d9f6615e-5573-4661-9ff3-f1b549f684ef&CaseElementPk=534267&EvaluationPhase=ImportDefinition&HasAlerts=True

Will you be sending a pre shipment batch for testing only? Which you can send to us and we will forward to the testing lab on your behalf.

Or will you be sending the consignment, and we will take out the random 20% of the consignment for the virus testing?

The 20% will also include testing for Melon Necrotic Spot Virus (MNSV) which is an additional requirement, (Oct 2016)

A phyto is not required, but you may send the previous one.

Alaina

hi eddie; after talking to speedy, and going through the previous documentation, i'm not sure if i'm reading it right;i know you are going out of your way to help us,and
that is greatly appreciated. but we understood, after all the work you have put in, that the seeds would all be given the go ahead, and sent straight on to us after they where tested over there, and had the right paperwork. it looks to me that our customs are still going to test the seeds, and we still lose 20%
i hope i'm wrong; kind regards-garry

Gary
I need to do a run through your labs and I will also do one through the labs here. I am getting hickups with our system and can't get the new test done that is now required and went into law a month ago.
Before I commit the 3 2145'2 I have and the other high end genetics to you guys so I'm just making sure I cover all my bases. At the end of all this, and if it ends up with 1 out of 5 seeds being tested, then trust me when I say I have enough seeds here that will never be planted so I can tip the percentage by sending up to 10 KGS Plus I already missed this season for you so I won't let this happen again.

As a side note, Alaina is helping me every step of the way and I actually think she wants this to work. She has been awesome
