I have been out of the game for two seasons. I am having germination issues. I think it could be due to age of seeds. Never had a problem before. Is there anyone who would be willing to give some seeds. Need to grow so my son can finally enjoy the experience of growing a giant pumpkin. He is turning 4 this weekend and has been talking about pumpkins for the last two months. Would hate to disappoint him. Thanks in advance.

Reach out to growers close by or maybe someone will see as many have plenty of backups sitting in pots that will be tossed. This would save you a couple weeks of time.

Thank you all! I appreciate you all coming out to offer help. I got a couple of plants on standby from a local guy. Rich Vogler called me today and offered to help out. Since he is pretty close to me I am going to gobble up his extra plant. Ned I actually got a plant and a long gourd seed from you a few years back. Hense I know where you live.....Just kidding. Have a great season all of you. At this point I have one goal to meet. That is for my son who turns four on sunday to have that big pumpkin he has been talking about since Christmas. Not looking to break the record unless that record is my sons happy meter come harvest time!

I was thinking that myself.. well if something goes wrong let me know I will have a couple on stand by. Didn't your sister have something to do with the fall event at Bethel/ Woodstock back in the day. We had a good day there last year at the weigh off with the NYSGPGA gang and was wondering if they were considering getting involved this year. Good luck growing with your son... nothing better than that.
