I know this may seem like an odd question to ask and I'm sure most who know me will say "don't sweat it Sally" but before I break an unknown rule of etiquette I would like to be sure.
I have purchased some very high quality seeds in the past with my own personal funds and have done nothing with them. I am thinking of donating them to Port Elgin Pumpkinfest for their fundraising efforts. All of my donated seeds would be clearly marked as such.
Would it be wrong for me to consider doing this?

that they were donated by me Handy and bought at auction instead of donated directly from the original grower - just like I have done with the other donated seeds in our inventory (Eddy Z and others)

I think you can, I think I saw such marking when Eddy Z had donated seeds...

Nothing wrong with what you want to do Sally. Once the money left your hand to purchase them, they became yours to do with as you please.

Some people are VERY concerned with the authenticity of seeds purchased and would be reassured to know they can be traced back to the grower.
Go for it, Sally.

I think marking your seeds with name/s and origin is a very good idea. At some point, sadly, it will occur that someone will pass on a seed of inferior or unknown quality as a popular high demand seed. The only way we have of guarding against this, aside from the already active and very generous community of AG growers, is what you suggest; labeled with origin and source.
