Hi all today I turned my proposal for my research project I am hopefully going to be doing through my college at my home in Austin Mn on watering methods and how they effect giant pumpkins! I have put alot of time into this and just wanted to say thank you to all the people who have helped me with this and to all the growers who have helped me through the years! I look forward to sharing my finding I get from doing this and anybody who wants to see how I'm doing I will be posting pics in my diary next year.

If anyone is interested in my experiment more i would be more than happy to send you my proposal just shoot me an email at [email protected]

Lastly I am trying to keep my cost for this project as low as I can so if anyone around the Minnesota area has a 250+ gallon water tote I am looking to get one! I have been checking Craig's list. Any one who has any extra mycos azos or any product I could use I would love to get them as well just send me an email [email protected]

Once again thank you to every one who has helped me in the past with knwolge or products or seeds I very greatly appreachaite your help :) being only 20 and growing a pumpkin over 900 pounds is one of my greatest accomplishments....trust me its the first thing I say to girls on a date lol but I could have never did that without all the support from my pumpkin growing family so thank you!!!

I believe that consistent application of trickle irrigation is best, keeps the pumpkin growing more steadily and less likely Blossom End Splits with possibly needed misters for more southern areas to cool things down a bit.
I believe you're on the right track and glad to see studies being conducted. We need more volunteers to continue studies for different aspects of growing science.
