This is a begging-letter. I suffer the lack of best plant protection remedy in bad old Europe. This year I used actinovate against fusarium on giant pumpkins, rhododendrons...against pseudomonas syringae on cucumber, against Xanthomonas and Pectobacterium on apple, strawberry and pumpkins... And with all fruits I had the biggest succes ever in my four decades of growing. But I used actinovate illegally, ´cause Europe put the registration on the back burner. If natural industries would send actinovate from Houston to me, they would jeopardize any EU concession in the future. I am nerval disordered ´cause of spraying chemical pesticides in tropical greenhouses more then two decades ago, and I suffer apnea when I only see a gas mask again. I want to act professionally in growing edible pumpkins and a little AGs as pollinators too, but I can not use that heavy chemistry for plant protection. Now as I made the best experience with actinovate on so many different plants, I see that I could feed my family when growing with the biological fungicide actinovate, that also helps against so many other plant protection problems. No other grower in central Europe has such an aptitude like my little son and I to create nice new squash and pumpkin varieties. Next year we crossbreed amelcorn too...since our name is Ammer like this emmer wheat. We will enlarge the seed, so it will become an interesting crop for all farmers... I come from ag-science. I beg you, send us bubbles with 2oz. actinovate as our friends, and we will send you nice seed from our new varieties of best edible pumpkins and squash. When I use donated actinovate, it´s only my risk. If you would like to help me, please contact [email protected]

The pumpkin community is one of the most giving with ferts, seeds, knowledge, watering systems, soil balancing, friendships,,,,,,,,, the list goes on and on and on:) I even have (3) 18 ounce unopened bags of Actinovate,,,,, dished half of one out to a close friend just last week for his winter crops.
Could you imagine the support you " would " have received if you could of just been a tad more polite and a little more pleasant over the past couple years......?
I'm sure there's someone out there that may help you,,,,,,, but it sure isn't going to be me or many others I know :(
Good luck with your begging.

I don't know the whole story behind pumplobster not being polite to other growers here, but I do know that saying bad things about him isn't right either. Two wrongs don't make a right. Any way, I think the real thing is that pumplobster is asking people to do an illegal thing. There must be something else you can use that will help plants in the same way. You seem like a smart person, just keep doing research and I'm sure you'll find something. Talk to farmers, they have a wealth of knowledge.

Three decades ago I was trained to advise farmers, dear Punk'nLvr! I wrote, that in four decades I could not see any success comparable to actinovate, and that I see the only chance to grow it without any risk for the supplier is, that I would get it donated by "friends". The donator does not have to get infected with my aplomb nor become such sophomorically like mine.

Thank you gentlemen for joining this public-opinion poll. Mr. Wallace, do you like wise old German sayings? "Der dümmste Bauer hat die weltweit größten Kürbisse."
