The Roba farms weighoff is a great venue for everyone to come and enjoy- there is so much to do for the non-pumpkin growers. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend due to other circumstances but I will miss battling with Andy and co. for the top squash! I hope everyone with a pumpkin left will consider this weighoff it is awesome! Best of luck! Jim Gerhardt

I would really like to attend because I have heard great things about Roba Farms and all the great things for non growers to keep them busy while the weighoff is going on . But I only attend one GPC weighoff and Altoona is the closest .

The pumpkin cannons at Roba farms are awesome!
Buff, 900lbs is a great pumpkin no matter what. You could squeak another 100lb out of there! Because it is early, Roba farms can be a tough weighoff depending on the year. This was a particularly crappy year for pumpkins so I would imagine a lot of growers will be in a hurry to get a big one to the scale. That is purely speculation. Two years ago I put a 1039.5 lb pumpkin on the scale at Roba's and got 9th place.
