Approximately how much molasses per 1000 sq. ft. do people spray on their patch and how often do you apply it? I would like to know what different individuals do. How much do you think would be too much?

I mix it 1/4 cup per gallon, spraying plant down and slightly soaking ground. I'd say minimum 10 gallons mixed for 1000' sq

Pumpkin Brat,
Does the molasses go bad? The stuff I had in a container all spoiled over about 8 months.

Is your stuff unsulfured? I know that's best from a gardening perspective, though the sulfur is what keeps it from going bad.

Tad12 I buy mine every other year also. I have never had it go bad on me. I get mine from a feed store. Not sure if it is unsulfured or not.
