Hi Everyone! I have a split on the bottom of stem on 1088 Neiuwenhoff. It's been doing good, but after pouring rain all day yesterday, when I got home tonight,it was starting to ooze. I cleaned it out good and dried it. It's not that deep and hope it will stop.Any advice as to what I can put on it? I have sulphur ,will that help? Any help would be great!

rinse with 10% peroxide/water solution, put fan on it or sulfur and fan. I just did the fan till it stopped oozing and then sulfur.
