How many people are using round up or some other weed control this year? Let's hear success and fails. How are you applying it?

Round up is scarey around a kin. Just the smell of it will make the leaves curl. If you even get some on your clothing, and rub against the plant you will see leaves browning in aweek!!!

Never had a problem with it...knicked some outer growth. Keeps nasty late season weeds from taking over the plants. Ya just gotta know how to aim yer thing

I use it. Never seen it damage a plant at all except if a droplet hits a leaf it bleaches the spot white. In my mind you'd have to be pretty reckless to seriously damage a pumpkin plant.

Ron Wallace used it and he had a 2009# WR pumpkin

I have useed it for about 4 years now
(since I seen/read Don Young using it ) and ive never had a problem also, I dont spray it wildly under my leaves and ALWAYS wait for a calm day to spray it, even though I try like hell and be extra careful not to spray it on the stocks or vines it does get on them every time and it doesnt bother my plants any at all, as long as you keep it off the leaves you are good to go.
