Hi all,
My pumpkins are about 25 days old now and are estimating around 160 pounds. They are doing between 12-15 pounds per day. Is there anything that I can do to boost these numbers?
Thanks

Did you amend your soil after taking a soil test, with the recommendations? Are you watering so the soil has adequate moisture? How many pumpkins do you have on each plant?

I did ammend my soil based on soil test results. I have 3 plants in 800 sq. feet or so. How many gallons of water should each plant have a day?

If my math is right, that's about 266 sq feet per plant. You might not have enough space for 3 plants. I have 1000 sq ft and I put two in, and I always wonder if I should cut back to one.

My 300 sf plant has a 800 est. Pumpkin on it at 49 dap. I really don't think size limits the abilities of the plant as much as people think.
