The green monster cracked this morning at her blossom end where it had rotted. Thought it was going to make it as I got the rot stopped, but nope she cracked all the way through. I packed the hole w sulfur in the hopes to save it long enough to get seeds.

Sorry to hear that Joe. It seems like a lot of Ontario growers are losing the battle. It's been a tough year so far for many of our growers.

Ya!!!! mixed emotions for me. I'm going to let the plant carry on without any tlc. Who knows maybe i'll get a 100 pounder off a side vine. Still a decent jack o lantern!! Sorry to the rest of you. This is usually the time of year this is alot of fun!!!
