What does it mean when day 14 it only grows 1in and the day before that it grew 2in and the day before that 4in its slowing way down?

unfortunately, not good. Probably aborting for some reason. Look for changes in the skin, oozing, less shiny, rotting, etc. Something is wrong when this happens most of the time.

Sounds like 4,2,1,0.Watch your plant for yellow vine disease.If the plant isnt sick you can still set a new fruit on.
