My "snowball" pumpkin plant is growing five or six male flowers off of every node on secondaries from the main stem. They grow very fast so obviously I am concerned that they are robbing the plant of energy. Anyone else experience this. Concerned it might mean the plant is under stress????

just likely a genetic mutation from chemcal use last year or this. I used karesen lantreens to heat greenhouses last year and ended up with only females on the plants due to the ethelen gasses they gave off while burning. Personally I would remove some or all to get that juice going to fruit and plant.

I have cut off most of the flowers. There is a growth tip so the vine will continue along.
