So does a plant sucks stuff up threw roots & send to leaves to get changed into food.then what direction does it go or does it just fill the whole plant with water & food & just go where its need to?

Plant sucks up water and nutrients to fill up its reserves so that it can make its OwN food to keep itself growing....I imagine that different parts of what it needs to make the food may be stored in different places within the plant cells...that's just a guess though...(great...., more reading)

Ok.kinda like a human. We have stuff inside us that is stored & when its needed it goes there. Just like if u get a cut your body sends stuff to clot

In my greenhouse we use food coloring to see what plant takes what where, kinda of an old time way of doing it but, say your adding a certain nutrient to a particular plant, I add just a drop of food coloring to it to see who puts it where....if nothing else it fascinates the kids. :}

I was thinking about this the other day. I was wondering if there might be a reason to put diferent fertalizers on diferent parts of the plant. For instance lots of P&K on the older part of the plant behind the pumokin and More N on the younger new growth out in front of the pumpkin.
