yep, the proverbial can-o-worms was just opened but what the heck, maybe a few pearls of wisdom will emerge for the benefit of others:

1. On a soil test, you want to shoot for Fe and Mn equal values
2. Cover cropping with mustard may be an effective suppressor of soil pathogens
3. Finally figured out which varieties of C. pepo i need to grow in my field (thanks John Harnica)
4. The hoover damn is something like 600ft thick at its base?
5. NOT to switch from beer to rum and coke after 9pm (yikes)
6. That Ian Paton wants to catch a big muskie
7. There's a helluva lotta money to be made if you pop a WR tomato this year

1 put dave stelts on tv show survivor he would build 2 story house from wal mart pallets in middle of no were he has nose much keener than best coondogs ive seen for tracking down wal mart pallets anywere anytime in 2 seconds flat

2 cover crops with azos and myco and let it go til almost june just 1 of many many things ron w showed us
also he could be top contender at beer drinking at any contest

3 steve daletas and water. has my head spinning and re thinking how much water and use of sensors

4 compost and iowa cec numbers eye opener

5 ratios alot to learn

6 luggage wife;s always will be carry on

7 the biggest fish in lake mead could be right behind the dam bring a ronco pocket fisherman and show ian hows its done

8 stay away from vegamite tasting

9 go for the quadruple bypass burger and watch out if paddles come around just say no

1) Most growers are better speakers than most key note speakers I have heard.

2) Don Young will never be on Dancing with the Stars

3) It was fun to beat TGU & more fun to watch Chewbacca kick the crap out of him untill he fell off the stage!!!(video coming soon)

4) The generosity of growers to step up to give all information without reservation never ceases to amaze me.

5) Ice Man makes one h$%% of an ugly baby!!!!

6) I have a severe love afair with Walmart pallets & am out of the closet now.

7) Joe knows way more about compost & composting than a "proffesional" does.

8) Ron Wallace set the bar so high that we will need Steve Daletas to fly us over it in order to beat it.

9) It is an honor & a privilage to work & have fun with the entire GPC Executive Committee they make it all happen & are truely the best in the world thank you!!!!

10) Orlando in 2014 is going to be the best yet it will really have something for every one & I can't wait!!!!

I couldn't elaborate on Steve's watering system even if I wanted too! ;) It was so very detailed and way above my brain capacity...........

There will be utube postings real soon and I'm sure someone will let us know when and where! Even though I saw them,,,, I can't wait to watch again!

Ron was videoing every step of the way and should be good!
