On top of Brush Mountain, Pa.

I read somewhere that the GPC was electing some new officers and that Dave was stepping down as he was ineligible to continue as president as per the bylaws. Has anything actually happened? Also, is there any word on where the annual convention will be held this year and when? This may all be posted somewhere and I may have just missed it so please don't anyone get your underwear in a bunch if that is the case.

Marv - depending on which annual convention you are referring you to - I can tell the 15th annual IGVGC in Niagara Falls will be held March 8-10, 2013 - info is posted at www.pumpkinfest.org - click on Giant Vegetables and then click on Seminar

some are known affectionately as "the straw that stirts the dring" while others are know as "the paddle that stirs the s-it".
personally, if dave wants to stay on id have no problem with it what so ever.without his drive and efforts over the past years we might not even have a gpc. at least not in the full scope we have today.

if he got paid by the hour for his service to the hobby? the gpc would be broke.

be a straw not a paddle.

Maybe you guys could post some pictures of yourselves in these underwear that you seem to have an affection for? Something that might prove interesting as the Winter doldrums are about to begin. These pictures could be placed on refrigerator doors etc.
