I treat my giant pumpkins like kings catering to there every need but I want to grow some Trinidad Scorpions and Ghosts but I don't know what special needs they have. Any one out there know what these hot suckers like ?

Go to pepperjoes.com and click growing aids. With my experience, light and heat plays a very important role. I treat them like I do any other pepper but they like warm temps. By the way, I ordered Pepper Joes 'Volcano In A Box' and had it in my mailbox in three days. Check him out on Daves' Garden Watchdog. Good growin'.

a little fish fertilizer did them good, typically about all the same ingredients as your pumpkins just a little less of everything. Good luck the scorpions will be to hott for anything as they are.
Even if you throw the trinidad scorpions in basically a sand pile just so they get the ocasional water you will still get 3 or so foot tall plants and become overrun with peppers very fast. They start more than slow so start them really really early.

Thanks whitey, I got some good info and also bought some Carolina reapers as well as some giant ghosts
Hey Spence I threw a few of your seeds in a pot and gave up on them after 2 weeks and found out after a month they popped, well 3 out of 5 any ways. Thanks again for the seeds

I meant to tell you that I started my Ghosts last January indoors. I used my germination box that I use for my pumpkins to germinate and then grew them under lights for quite a while. Even after I moved them to my greenhouse I kept the lights on them until we got sufficient daylight here. You can see pictures on my diary for this year. Beautiful plants. My wife made some killer essence with them.

Reimerseeds.com has some good info on pepper growing and a large selection of peppers.

Consistant water and heat over about 10days typically gets them out of the ground with no problem, even then about the time you start wondering if they are going to come up they finally do.
