No worries, pumpkingrower3, I didn´t mean to annoy you, and Josh and Ben are right, over here it´s way too cold for growing anything, and therefore the time for all other sorts of thoughts. During summertime I probably wouldn´t have noticed so many new entries on the message board. Anyway, it´s good to see you mentioned you have already grown for a few years, and you started a diary. Welcome to the madness.
After a year with a diary, when others could see what you are getting out of your pumpkin seeds, it might become easier to trade seeds. Why? A pumpkin is like a baby, and its seeds are the new generation of babies, and parents want to see their babies grow up, they want to make sure their babies will have a good life.
Just read the seed exchange section every day, many growers offer seeds with excellent genetics, at the cost of a self addressed bubble. There are so many "more than hot" seeds out there, but they haven´t been grown yet and therefore nobody knows.
Best wishes, best of luck for your 2013 season.

I have the 1409 Miller on my list of potentials too. I would be interested in growing one if anyone has one.
