Does anyone know where you can get bulk compost/manure in california?

many cities have municipal composting facilities. California is known for agriculture, so there should be farms or ranches around. You could even try to find mushroom growers. Long term, you can always start your own compost bins. All you have to do is look around, California is full of.. ahem, compost!

Like Ben said, most municipalities or regions have some good compost. There are a ton of growers in Cali, so maybe add your town\region an email address and you'll get plenty of help.
