I wanted to thank everyone who participated in the first ever PlantYourOwn.com giant tomato contest. There were a total of 35 entries. It was great to see the results come in and the pictures posted. It was a rough, hot growing season, but growers still seemed to find a way to post some big results. Congratulations to the following winners:

1st place – John Butler with a massive tomato weighing in at 5.58 lbs.

2nd place – Hezekiah Wahl with a nice looking tomato weighing in at 4.55 lbs.

3rd Place – Margaret Martin weighed a big zac tomato at 4.12 lbs.
