You'd think by now that politicians would realize that the U.S. voter knows how to apply the concept of checks and balances. The last Congress was thrown out on its ear for ramming crap down our throats and our president was left to deal with it. I'm predicting he gets another four years to deal with it.

Fact is, the U.S. voter doesn't want to give absolute power to EITHER party because something bad always happens to the middle class. When either side decides it's time to do the right thing and govern from the middle, they will truly understand tenure.

I think Dick Wallace (pap) hit the nail on the head. I listen to a woman on Tv today and she says, I feel sorry for American by the fall of 2014. Our country will be worse off then it was back in the 30's. She said she feels if Obama gets re-elected, Our country is in very serious trouble. She did also state, seven months ago she was all for Obama. But now the numbers are getting very high for people with no jobs and welfare has almost doubled.

Hey afveteran I wouldn't complain about your gas prices-$3.27 a gal.? We were at over $4 agallon last week, now down to $3.89. I'm driving to Deerfield with a tank truck!! The job situation is so bad now, people are better off starting a small business than working for some one else and making them rich! That's what I'm doing right now. I'm on disability and at $875 a month - that's just not cutting it. It's a shame that young people out of collage end up flipping burgers!

Jack 66 there are many books on growing marijuana that can be found at your local Borders bookstore. It is easy to grow and grows like a weed.

I don't think the kids will be allowed to smoke the marijuana, It's over 21 only. Just like alcohol. Schools will not have to worry.

Our leaders tend to get into power and stay there for long periods of time kind of like the Monarchy. They either do a great job and stay in like most recently Pierre Trudeau for 15 years, Jean Chretien for 10 years. Our current #1 is Stephen Harper and he's been in for 6 years with no foreseeable change happening soon. Pierre Trudeau's son Justin, will like lead Canada some day soon...you heard it hear first.
