total planted: 20, but grew larger the 500: 48??? = average of more than 2 pumpkins per plant.

Notice: Grew damaged means that it grew that number of damaged for those who took a damaged pumpkin to the weigh-off. There´s probably always a significantly greater number of damaged ones, because many people will notice the damage before weigh-off and then won´t take the pumpkin there.

Are the 9 and 27 also included in the 48 ? (ie. does it break down as 48 total larger than 500 with 27 off those over 1000 and 9 off those over 1500 )- so actually 9 over 1500 , 18 between 1000 and 1500, and 21 between 500 and 1000 for a total of 48 grown ?

JDFan, that´s as I understand that list, because according to fundamental maths "larger than 500" includes the "larger than 1000" and "larger than 1500", otherwise it needed to read "18 between 1000 and 1500" etc., as you mentioned.
