Since the season has pretty much come to a complete finish, I'll throw the question out there. Which seed do you think outgrew all the others in 2012? And which seed do you think has the most potential next year?

You may have the best seed figured for 2012,Whats the seed with the best odds of growing a heavy kin in 2013? I see 1596 werner a 1494 Boresden & 1495 Stelts.Or if you cant get these how about The wizz has a 1046 27% heavy,Ron barkers910.5 22% heavy has some hevy genectics,as does Chris Kents 1067 22% heavy.I think there odds are just as good as any top seed.

Here is what I noticed, in the top 30 pumpkins grown this year.

1725 Harp x 5, 1495 Stelts x 3, 1789 Wallace x 3, 1381 Checkon x 2. The rest of the pumpkins in the top 30 are single seeds in that category.

1725 Harp grew an whopping 16.66% of the top 30 while 1495 and 1789 seed grew an amazing 10% of the top 30 from this year.

Anyone else want to do the next 30?

1495 Stelts. 1789 Did great, but just think if some of the huge ones that went light had gone heavy??

You can look at it a different way NSB. Compare the top 30 to the number that were weighed in to the number of sibb. 1725 5 of 11, 1495 3 of 36, 1789 3 of 12, 1381 2 of 17 and one you missed 1596 Werner 3 of 13. There were 3 seeds that only 1 was weighed in and made the top 30. 1140 Finders, 1592 Platte, 1466 Jutras. Can't guarantee my numbers a right.
