For those of you still sitting on a potential world record pumpkin, The Half Moon Bay Beautification Committee has agreed to carry over the $25,000 total prize for a pumpkin grown over 2000 lbs that sets the world record and is weighed at Half Moon Bay on October 8th. This was originally designated for the FIRST one over 2000 lbs, but since Ron Wallace did that at Topsfield they have agreed to extend the offer to the 'Heaviest' world record!

Hats off to a great organization. Can't wait to see what happens at Half Moon Bay!

Don't forget UESUGI FARMS and their $30,000 WR Prize Money.....they have really stepped it up this Year and Hopefully it will PAY OFF! we are so lucky to have such GREAT weigh offs here , four GPC WEIGHOFFs (heirloom fest, ELK grove, HMB, UESUGI Farms) all unique in their own way...and many smaller non independent WEIGHOFFs too.

The Auburn harvest festival is really a nice fun family weigh off and the pumpkins keep getting bigger!

Yes, SCOTT...I hear that Auburn holds a great WEIGHOFF and I hope to get there one of these days! We really are lucky to have so many events that support our hobby.
